1) Hold darts
Place the dart on the palm edge to find its balance point (center of gravity). Now roll the dart with your thumb to the tip of your four fingers, then put your thumb a little behind the center of gravity, and finally grab it with the rest of your fingers, as many as you like. Now you can raise your arms and throw darts.
2) Basic requirements
Dart needle up! As you have read, the dart must be held with the tip slightly up. If your dart needle is facing down, please change it immediately!
Steady but not tense. The grip must be steady, but not strain your finger muscles. If your fingertips are white from stress, or if the lines on the dart barrel have been printed on your fingertips, you are too nervous. Hold the dart as long as it doesn't slide, but make sure you have good control of the dart during acceleration. The common mistake in holding darts is that they are too tight, not too loose. How many fingers? This is a question that is often asked, but it has no precise answer. Minimum three fingers (thumb +2), maximum five. The fingers used should be in contact with the dart barrel or needle, and no fingers should touch the dart rod or even the dart wing. A two-finger grip does not control the dart well, so use at least three fingers. Using more fingers gives you better control when accelerating, but it's a little more difficult to release because you need to coordinate more fingers. The coordinated movement of the fingers when releasing the dart is the key to holding the dart. You have to make sure that no fingers accidentally "kick" the dart at the last moment of release. This will affect its direction of flight.
3) The taboo of holding darts

Secondly, the grip of the dart must be stable, but not tense. If your fingertips are white from stress, or if the lines on the dart barrel have been printed on your fingertips, you are too nervous. Remember to hold the dart as long as it doesn't slide, this will ensure good control of the dart during acceleration.
Two fingers in the darts again. It's not a question of cool or not cool, three points to ensure stability, so at least three fingers to hold the darts, five is fine. Use your fingers for better control when accelerating, but it's a little harder to release.
Finally, the fingers that do not hold the darts should not be held habitually, but can be stretched out or kept in the same position as the other fingers. Making a fist will make the other fingers too tense, it is more difficult to release, and it is easy to rub against the dart that flies out, affecting the accuracy.
Darting skill
Everyone has their own hobbies, but from a technical point of view, the brush grip is the best stability. Throwing skills include posture, balance, holding and release of darts, arm and wrist movements, number matching and concentration, if you can heart, eye, hand and brain integration is the highest level.
There are three basic positions when throwing:
1. Toes forward: Stand upright, feet together, toes at right angles to the throw line.
2. Toes parallel or at right angles: This is the most common position, with the toes facing the throwing line.
3. One foot in front: This method is suitable for beginners, standing with the right foot in front, with their own standing very comfortable as the principle.
